Warm Greek sun and hospitality awaits you at the Athos Hotel in the resort of Nidri. This attractive low-rise building is set in lovely gardens and overlooks the harbour. You can spend your holiday soaking up the sun on a lounger by the refreshing pool, sipping a drink from the bar or wander down to the sand and shingle beach, only 350m away, where you can have a go at watersports or even hire a boat to go and visit some of the other beaches and little islands off the coast.

Other amenities around the Athos Hotel include all the shops, restaurants and bars of the resort centre. It's just 150m from the property where you'll find plenty of places for buying souvenirs, eating local cuisine and sampling cocktails. Nightlife is plentiful and there is a great buzz about the place in the evenings. If you like walking you'll find lots of picturesque trails and as the area is quite flat they aren't too taxing - try the 4km walk to Nidri waterfall. Back at the hotel the rooms are basic but comfortable and on the whole this property and resort is ideal for those looking for a friendly, relaxing break in the sun.
