Gozo Village Houses details
With their sleepy village setting, these villas are the place to drop off the radar. Stay in Villa Battista or Villa Gianni and the hustle and bustle of the everyday life couldn’t be further away. Instead, you’ll be soaking up the rustic charm of their sandstone walls and the Moorish curves of their windows. Next door to one another, the villas each have a kidney-shaped pool and sun terrace dotted with loungers. There’s also a table and parasol for al fresco meals.
Inside, the villas have heavy timber ceilings and their stone walls are painted cream. There’s a pine dining table and chairs, and cushioned wicker sofa. On this floor, there’s one of the three twin bedrooms – the other two are on the first floor. The air-conditioned villas also have a kitchenette.
If you’re planning to get out and about, it’s just a five-minute drive to the village centre, which has a supermarket, café and restaurants. Plus, add another five minutes onto your trip and you’re at the beach.
