One of the advantages of staying in a big hotel is the range of facilities it can offer, and the Hotel Atalaya Park is no exception. Standing right on the beach some three kilometres outside San Pedro and 12 kilometres from Estepone and Marbella, this large property has it all to keep families amused and occupied for the duration of their stay. Of course, most important of all is proximity to the beach and there’s a broad sweep of golden sand directly in front of the hotel, where you can simply relax or indulge in a wide range of water sports, payable locally. Add to that two outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, a PADI diving school, nine tennis courts, two 18-hole golf courses, a driving range, multi-sport courts, archery and shooting, mini golf, a gym with a sauna, solarium and beauty centre, evening entertainment programmes and daytime activities, and you’ll start to see what we mean.

Meals are mouth-watering buffets in the elegant main restaurant but there’s also a lounge bar and a poolside snack bar for further refreshments. The bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished in classic style, with air conditioning, televisions and balconies.
