Not only is there a comprehensive animations programme, but the hotel also has a water park on site, which is a mix of long and curvy slides and will no doubt keep kids happy for hours. There is also a kids club and children have their own section of the main pool. Adults are kept busy too with snorkeling, bicycle hire and the nearby sandy beach that is reached by a short climb down a set of steps.

The Hotel el Greco’s rooms are colourful and comfortable and perfectly reflect the hotel’s chilled out family vibe. Each one has air conditioning and sleeps up to three adults. Meals at the hotel are taken in the buffet restaurant and there is also a poolside bar for snacks and ice creams during the day. After dinner there is evening entertainment at the hotel, or guests can wander into Portinatx for a drink in one of the resort’s bars. For the more party-focused residents, Portinatx is well connected to Ibiza’s impressive nightlife and you are just a bus ride away from legendary clubs like Space and Pacha.
