Surrounded by pine trees and fruit groves, the Magda Studios and Apartments let you get back to nature.

A winding track from the sleepy village of Koukounaries leads you to this quiet cluster of studios and apartments. They’re set on the edge of a pine forest and have greenery in every direction, so it goes without saying they come with pretty incredible views. And because they’re so tucked away they’re quiet, too – yet they’re still only a ten-minute walk away from shops, restaurants and beaches.

The 11 studios and 4 apartments are set around a large swimming pool. There’s a smaller kids’ pool, too, and a sun terrace which comes with plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas. Fanning out from the pool area to the edge of the forest are some beautiful gardens, which are lovingly cared for by the owners of the complex.

Step inside the studios and apartments and the scene is simple and traditional. Whitewashed walls and wooden furniture give the rooms a distinctly Greek feel, and the kitchenette is kitted out with the self-catering essentials, including a small table and chairs. All the studios and apartments come with air-conditioning, too, and have either a balcony or terrace. Plus they’re cleaned five times a week.
