Truly, a little corner of Greek paradise. And the villa’s not bad either – a traditional white sugar cube house, with a lovely private pool and a shaded terrace with a built-in barbecue. Inside there are two bedrooms that both open out onto a large roof terrace – the best place to enjoy those stunning views, while downstairs the open-plan living and dining area is light and airy.

The Sirocco Villa is approximately a kilometre from the gorgeous Milia Beach and a five minute drive from Alonissos Town. This is one of the most beautiful and natural of all the Greek islands, unspoilt by tourism – a landscape of coves and cliffs, forests, orchards and meadows. Ideal to divide your time between lying on the beach and walking in the countryside.
