Thanks to Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, the golden age has come back to America. The design of this 37-acre hotel has been inspired by the rock and roll of the Fifties and the swing of the Sixties. Everything from the font of the hotel’s sign to the Jetson-style car port outside the lobby look vintage.
There are 2 types of accommodation at the hotel – standard rooms and family suites. The latter sleep up to 6 people and come with Happy Days-style kitchen areas with breakfast bars and bar stools.
Facilities at the hotel are all-American. The 2 swimming pools are huge and are edged by the likes of sandy beaches, relaxing cabanas and a lazy river. There’s a bowling alley, too.
The hotel’s food court is split into 4 areas, where you can get everything from burgers and fries to retro milkshakes.
On top of all this, the Cabana Bay Beach Resort is inside Universal Orlando® Resort, which means Universal Studios Florida®, Universal's Islands of Adventure® and Universal CityWalk® are all really close by. What’s more, hotel guests get early park admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™.
