Stylish, tranquil and close to a sandy beach, the Apollonion Resort & Spa provides an out-of-the-way oasis.
The Apollonion Resort & Spa is set in the countryside outside of Lixouri, so it’s very quiet and restful. What’s more, it’s just five minutes’ walk from Xi Beach, where the sands are lined with sunbeds. Lixouri itself is a bit further away, so you’re better off taking a cab or bus.
The hotel was only built recently, so it’s contemporary through and through. Avant-garde sculptures line the lobby, and the bedrooms are all boutique chic. To up the luxury, you can stay in a maisonette-style suite, which features a terrace leading into your own private pool.
In terms of the pool itself, it’s big and stretches through the gardens. Sunbeds surround the water, and there’s an al fresco taverna at one end, serving light meals. Completing everything is a buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
Lastly, the spa is great for relaxing. Its treatments cover everything from essential oils massages to steam baths.

Duplex family rooms sleeping up to 4 adults are light and airy, split over 2 floors with a double or twin beds in the downstairs bedroom and twin beds in the upstairs space which overlooks the ground floor, plus a terrace with limited sea view.
2 bedroom maisonette suites with private pool sleep up to 5 with 2 bedrooms split over 2 floors. Ground floor comprises of master bedroom with a double or twin beds and sitting area plus bathroom. First floor has twin bedroom, separate bathroom and first floor terrace. Rooms also have a ground terrace with sunbeds, sitting area and a private pool, with whirlpool jet functions, which connects to a larger pool.
