The hardest choice you’ll have to make when you stay at the Arco Hotel is whether to sunbathe by the stylish pool or make the short walk to the beach.

Just a short path and a couple of steps separate the Arco Hotel from Agia Paraskevi Beach. The golden sand here shelves gently into the millpond sea, so it’s a great place for swimming as well as sunbathing.

Whitewashed walls and lots of wood characterise the recently-renovated rooms. Bathrooms, meanwhile, are contemporary, with granite worktops and chrome fixtures and fittings. To make your life easy, every room has a fridge and a Wi-Fi connection, as well.

The swimming pool is spa-like. It’s surrounded by cushioned sunloungers and lit by lantern light at night. There’s a bean bag-style seating area close to the water, too, which is a great place to unwind with a cocktail from the bar.

Food typical of a Greek kitchen is served in the restaurant. If you want a wider choice of eateries, you can catch the bus to Skiathos, which runs every 15 minutes from the bus stop a few metres down the road from the hotel.
