The Atlantica Kalliston Resort & Spa has clinched a prime spot in Nea Kydonia. The hotel hugs the golden sands of Glaros Beach, so great views come as standard. What’s more, it’s only a couple of minutes’ walk from the nearest shops and cafés, and less than a 10-minute drive from the historical town of Chania.

The property’s interiors are stylish and contemporary. Take the rooms, for instance. They’re decorated in shades of gold and royal blue, and kitted out with regal-looking cushions and drapes. Outside, meanwhile, you’ll find 3 swimming pools framed by smart wooden loungers. One is brand new and comes with a swim-up bar. There's a softly-lit spa here, too, with a suite dedicated to couples' treatments.

When it comes to dining, you can expect a mix of classic, around-the-world dishes in the hotel’s buffet restaurant. There are also 4 themed eateries, including an Italian trattoria and an Asian joint that specialises in dishes from the Far East.
