Guests leave the Avra Imperial feeling properly pampered – this luxurious hotel comes with a state-of-the-art spa and a clutch of swimming pools framed by comfy daybeds.

The Avra Imperial runs parallel to the pretty pebbly beach of Kolymbari. It’s surrounded by gardens filled with palm trees, so feels nice and secluded, despite being less than a 5-minute walk from the village centre.

There are 3 outdoor swimming pools to choose from here. One is absolutely huge, covering around 2,500 square metres of the grounds. There are also a couple of smaller pools set aside for children. By the water’s edges, you’ve got giant white parasols, loungers and muslin-shaded daybeds.

Inside the spa, you’ll find another swimming pool. This one comes with waterfalls and jets, and sits alongside a string of treatment cabins where you can indulge in aromatherapy massage and chocolate body wraps.

You’ve got a trio of restaurants to choose from. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, there’s Basilico, a Mediterranean eatery that puts on themed buffets now and again. Blue Dong, meanwhile, serves specialities from the Far East. There’s also Al Fresco, a poolside joint that offers light meals and snacks with an Italian influence.

Superior rooms with private pool are larger than Deluxe rooms, sleeping up to 4 with twin beds and 2 sofa beds, plus superior décor and a private pool.

Deluxe suites are large rooms sleeping up to 4 with a king-size bedroom, 2 sofa beds in the lounge, 2 bathrooms, 2 satellite LED TVs and pool views. Deluxe suites with private pool are also available.
