Luxe décor and a setting on the edge of the caldera – Casa Florina has everything you’d want from a Santorini base.
Casa Florina is built into the side of the Imerovigli clifftop, on the edge of the Santorini caldera. As such, guests of the hotel are treated to uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea and Skaros Castle, which is set on an island opposite the property.
The hotel has been designed to reflect the sea and the sky. The exteriors are bright white, with pale blue window shutters, while bedrooms come with white walls, and powder-blue cushions and bed throws. Ornamental butterflies, birdcages and creeping cherry blossom give things a romantic feel.
Outside, among blue pots and chimineas, you’ll find the terrace. It looks out over the sea, and comes with a sprinkling of sunbeds. There’s also a cold whirlpool bath for when the rays get too hot.
Lastly, you’re in a good spot for exploring here. Santorini’s cosmopolitan capital, Thira, is less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel.
