The Club Bahamas has an enviable location on the edge of Playa d’en Bossa Beach, just a 10-minute walk from the heart of town.

Despite its Caribbean-sounding name, this hotel is in Ibiza. And it’s not got any old address – this place’s postcode is one of the best in Playa d’en Bossa. Step out of the door and you’ll find yourself on the baking soda sands of Playa d’en Bossa Beach, within touching distance of the resort’s most stylish beach clubs. Walk for a few minutes, meanwhile, and you’ll arrive at the nearest bars and restaurants and then the centre of town.

The hotel’s swimming pool is huge, and there’s a sculpture in the middle, which is in keeping with the arty essence of the hotel. There’s a bar next to the water, too, where the drinks list ranges from mojitos to sparkling wine.

Design-wise, the hotel keeps its finger on the pulse. Its last makeover, in 2008, themed its rooms around artists. It’s getting another redesign in time for 2014, which is being kept secret until the big reveal.
