A great central base for couples, this place scores highly on the location front.

The small but perfectly formed Ramos Hotel has grabbed a great spot in Hisaronu. It’s right in the heart of the town so you’re only ever a couple of minutes’ walk from all the restaurants and bars. On the flip side, gorgeous mountain views come as standard, so when it comes to relaxing, it’s still ideal for lazy days by the pool.

Talking of which, the pool is the first thing you’ll notice. It’s a kidney-shaped number set into a big sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Plus there’s a pool bar serving drinks and snacks, so you’ll never have to wander far to refuel. Add well looked after and spacious gardens and you’ve got a great place for relaxing.

Wander inside, meanwhile, and you’ll find air-conditioned bedrooms decorated in neutral tones. They’re simple affairs kitted out with modern furniture and they all come with private balconies.

As for entertainment, for a small hotel, this place pulls out all the stops. There are weekly quizzes, bingo evenings and all major football and sports events are shown, too. What’s more, you’ve got table tennis and a pool table.
