Vila Vicencia details
Villa Vicencia definitely falls into the ‘small but perfectly formed’ category. It’s a place that guests return to year after year.
These three charming old villas are a real home-from-home. And if you’re looking for a place to stay where you’ll feel more like a family friend than a room number, this is it. There’s even a self-service bar in the garden, just help yourself to what you fancy and make a note of what you’ve had.
Talking of the gardens, they’re probably the Vila Vicencia’s best feature. Dotted with well-established trees and exotic flowers, they offer up plenty of private spots to relax. There’s an outdoor pool, too, as well as a pretty conservatory and terraced dining area that really comes into its own at breakfast time. Plus, the Lido promenade is a five-minute walk away. And it's lined with cafes and restaurants, so it’s a great spot to eat out, too.
Inside, meanwhile, the rooms have a classic flavour - all whitewashed walls and elegant dark-wood furniture. What’s more, if you opt to stay in a superior suite, you’ll get your own balcony or terrace, too. Overlooking the garden, they’re great spots to unwind after a day’s exploring.
