For a relaxed hideaway a stone’s throw from the beach, look no further than this Greek goddess.

If relaxation is high on your holiday wish list, then the Atlantis Beach Villa could be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s surrounded by greenery and backs the black sands of Perivolos Beach. It’s actually in between the towns of Perissa and Perivolos, so there’s definitely a peaceful vibe to the place. That said, there are plenty of tavernas and beachfront bars only a few minutes’ walk away.

With only 33 rooms, it’s got a real cosy feel. As for the rooms themselves, think traditional Greek - all whitewashed walls with touches of blue as vivid as Santorini’s church domes. They’re simple but comfy and every room comes with a balcony or terrace, so you can sit out and watch the sunrise.

Meanwhile, the pool area takes centre stage outside, with a large curvy pool surrounded by loungers and parasols. Completing the scene is a shaded pool bar – a welcoming little place for snacks and drinks.
