This place is a couple of kilometres out of town, but you can easily get a bus or a cab down to the beach. And there are a handful of restaurants and bars a lot nearer, so you're not completely isolated. As to the hotel itself, it’s rather nice. The rooms are fairly spacious and a little bit of thought has gone into the interior design. Outside, bougainvillea and terracotta roofs give the cream two-storey blocks a typically Mediterranean look. Plus, all the rooms overlook the swimming pool. Throw in some nice extras, like a whirlpool and a steam room, and some impressive mountain views, and you've got a good budget base.
