Cyclades Studios & Apartments details
The Cyclades Studios and Apartments in Ornos on the Greek island of Mykonos couldn’t be prettier if they tried: white sugar cube buildings with blue window shutters and doors are set in flower-filled landscaped gardens. This is an adults only complex and although it doesn’t have its own pool, guests are able to make use of the pool at the Anemos next door – not to mention the fact that the beach is just 80 metres away. The accommodation here is in studios that can sleep either two or three people. Inside, they feature wood beamed ceilings, white-washed walls and attractive Greek textiles and all have kitchenettes, fridges, air conditioning, televisions and either a balcony or a terrace.
The Cyclades are 2.5 kilometres from the centre of Ornos, a buzzing little resort with excellent water sports and a multitude of restaurants and tavernas that serve the fresh local seafood with pride. It’s only three kilometres from Mykonos Town, to which there is a regular bus service, and it makes the perfect base for exploring the rest of this fascinating island.
