Haralambos Studios details
In a typical Greek sugar-cube with pale blue trims, the Haralambos Studios in Kefalos will make a great base for a relaxing holiday on the Greek island of Kos. First off, you literally couldn’t be closer to the beach – it’s just across the road, so no effort involved in going sunbathing. Or you can make use of the pool at the nearby Hotel Eleni. Add to that an on-site minimarket and a fabulous beach tavern run by owner Harry, and your meals are sorted. It’s a friendly and welcoming complex and Harry and his family take pride in making sure that everything’s just right. The accommodation is in studios that sleep up to two or three – bright and white, with comfortable furniture, kitchenettes, air conditioning (local charge) and private balconies.
Kefalos is a quiet and laid back resort with a wonderful beach and wind surfing centre. Although there are plenty of tavernas and restaurants, nightlife is low key, but it makes an excellent base for sight-seeing: Greek and Roman ruins and castles are scattered throughout the area.
