Close to the beach and with three swimming pools, the Jasmin Beach Apartments are ideal for families.

Set in lush gardens with vines climbing its whitewashed walls, these apartments certainly look the part. They’re arranged in three-storey blocks that are topped with bougainvillea.

In terms of accommodation, you can take your pick from studios or one-bedroom apartments. And whichever you choose, they’ve all got a Mediterranean vibe. Lemon-washed walls and tiled floors share space with dark-wood furniture. What’s more, they’re air-conditioned and come with a balcony, too. Plus, they’re well-equipped for self-catering, with a kitchenette that includes a fridge, a kettle and an electric hob.

Outside, you’ll find three pools dotted throughout the complex. Each one has a shallow section for children, plus they each come with a bar serving snacks and drinks. And at the bottom of the gardens, you’ve got the beach. It’s a sandy sweep that comes with neat rows of sunbeds.

For more substantial meals, head for the buffet restaurant. It offers up a huge range of global dishes and is open all day. And if you fancy something more formal, there’s also an à la carte restaurant with a terrace next to the pool.

For more choice on the food front, the apartments are only a ten-minute walk from the centre of Gumbet, where you’ll find plenty in the way of restaurants and bars.
