This pair of lemon-yellow villas are in a quiet street in Coral Bay and one of them, Kings Paradise 1, is exclusive to the Thomson Group in the UK. While the immediate area might be pretty low-key, you’re just a five-minute walk from the livelier centre and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Plus, a sandy beach with plenty of watersports, like pedalos, water-skiing and scuba-diving, is just a ten-minute stroll away.

Location aside, these villas have plenty of other plus points. The first - and most obvious - is the pool area. Each villa comes with a good-sized private pool set into a sun terrace with sunbeds. Add a veranda with a table and chairs, and a barbecue, and you’ll probably want to spend most of your time outdoors.

As for the inside, both villas are light and airy. Expect bright rooms painted in vanilla tones, with tiled floors and simple-but-homely Cypriot styling. Downstairs, they’ve got a kitchen and dining room rolled into one, while the lounge comes with a TV and patio doors opening on to the veranda. There’s also a twin bedroom with an en suite down here, while the other two bedrooms – both with en suites – can be found upstairs.
