This popular set of studios combines a convenient setting with a colourful pool scene.

These studios are actually in Platanes, a small resort on the edge of Rethymnon. It means you’ve got the beach and a handful of restaurants and bars down the road, although you’ll have to get a bus or a taxi into the city itself. It’s only a ten-minute drive away though, so it’s not really an issue. The studios themselves are clean and comfortable, if a little on the small side. Each one comes with a kitchenette, too. As for the pool area, it stays pretty quiet and comes with a better-than-average supply of sunbeds. Plus you'll find plenty of greenery scattered around the complex, in the form of little gardens.
