Right on the beach, with its own superb pool area, the Riu Palace Jandia is a sun-lover’s delight. Located on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, this smart modern hotel is just 600 metres from the centre of Morro Jable, a traditional fishing village on the south-east corner of Fuerteventura, where you can enjoy fresh seafood and a chilled glass of wine on the harbour front. And then back to that beach: there are 32 kilometres of it in all, making it a fantastic place for water sports.
