With meals fresh from its gardens this place is a little less ordinary.

This is one for those who like their hideaways a little different. For starters, it’s got an intimate vibe thanks to surrounding woodland and a small number of studios – there are only 28. But it’s the gardens that really make this place stand out. They’re home to pomegranate trees and olive groves, and the owners here make their own olive oil.

What’s more, the pool taverna is really rated, too. It bucks the trend of ready meals, serving only homemade fare. And it’s all locally-sourced and most of it’s organic, too. You’ll find it set back from the sun terrace that surrounds the curvaceous pool.

Then there’s the accommodation itself. The studios are housed in a cluster of two-storey buildings. The rooms are on the simple side, and come with small kitchenettes for rustling up snacks. Honeysuckle-framed terraces line the ground floor, while first-floor balconies are topped by bougainvillaea-laden pergolas.

As for what you’ll find nearby, the complex is less than a five-minute walk to the beach, and just a little further on brings you to the heart of Lassi. There’s plenty in the way of tavernas here.
