Surrounded by mountains and fields, Villa Arsinoe is ideal for off-the-beaten-track holidays. It’s set high in the countryside, about a kilometre outside of Latchi, which means tranquillity is guaranteed. And it goes without saying the views are pretty special, too. When it comes to getting out and about, meanwhile, shops, restaurants and beaches are all just a 15-minute walk away.

The villa itself has been designed to maximise the views. The pool area comes with a spacious sun terrace, accessorised with sunloungers, umbrellas and a barbecue. It’s also surrounded by orange groves and a vineyard, giving it a back-to-nature feel. The villa’s bedrooms have the best views, though – look out their huge windows and you can see right down to the ocean.

Talking of bedrooms, there’s a double and a twin, both with en suites and TVs. Downstairs, meanwhile, you’ll find a large, open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room. Large patio doors keep things light and airy, and home comforts come in the form of a washing machine and a TV. Décor-wise, things have been kept traditional – think whitewashed walls, detailed wooden fittings and landscape paintings.

Finally, there’s another property next door to Villa Arsinoe, called Villa Aphrodite. And while it’s far enough away to ensure you have plenty of privacy, it’s really handy if you’re coming away in a larger group.
