A high quality country villa perfect for guests wanting a laid-back holiday. Situated along a residential lane in the Caramujeira region, which is famous for its wines, the Caravela is built in traditional Algarvian style and offers superb accommodation amid peaceful surroundings.
With just three other villas and a farm as neighbours, the villa commands magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and Monchique mountains. The charming, landscaped front garden fringing the private driveway creates a lovely first impression, as does the villa's pool and sun terrace, which is spacious and furnished with sunloungers and a brick-built barbecue. The beautiful Roman-style pool completes the excuses for spending whole days here lapping up the sunshine. From the terrace, patio doors link to the open-plan sitting-dining room, which is furnished in comfortable and relaxed modern style. The informal and bright theme extends to the quality fitted kitchen, which also flows out to the pool area. Finished to the same high standards, the bedrooms are air-conditioned and like the rest of the house, immaculately maintained.
Ideally located for exploring the beaches of Carvoeiro and Algar Seco, the Caravela is also convenient for excursions to the towns of Armaçao de Pera and Albufeira. Beautiful Praia da Rocha beach is also just 30 minutes' away by car.
