If we gave awards for villas with the biggest pools, this place would certainly be in the running for the number one spot. Its pool is huge. A rectangular number set into a sun terrace framed by gardens, it’s got plenty of room for everyone. What’s more, there’s a gazebo and a barbecue out here, too.

Step inside, meanwhile, and you’ll find a spacious place for six. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are all open-plan so it’s got a really light and airy feel. Add lots of pale wood and blue furniture and it’s got the holiday factor just right.

In terms of bedrooms, there’s a master bedroom with an ensuite on the ground floor, plus two twin rooms with their own en suite shower rooms upstairs. And just like the downstairs, cream-coloured walls, wooden furniture and plenty of big windows keep things fresh and contemporary.

As for the location, it’s quite off the beaten track, so it’s perfect if you’re after a bit of peace and quiet. But Latchi village, which has shops, restaurants and a beach, is just a 15-minute walk away.
