This peaceful hotel offers far-reaching views and is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Maiori.

The Club Due Torri Hotel & Apartments has a dramatic setting on a rocky clifftop, with views sweeping across the Amalfi coastline from Ravello to Conca dei Marini. It has a few terraces that make the most of the views, the centrepiece being the panoramic one that wraps around the circular bar room. There are also excellent views from the buffet restaurant’s rooftop terrace.

Bedrooms here are simply dressed with pale walls, wooden furniture and azure-blue tiled floors. All have balconies that make the most of the sea views. Apartments are also available in a separate building. They’re newly refurbished, with white walls, glass tables and ceramic tiles made half an hour down the coast in Vietri sul Mare.

The property is on the edge of Maiori, a few minutes’ walk from the end of the promenade, so it’s very quiet. It’s next to a Norman tower, hence its name – torri means tower in Italian. And just down some steps from the hotel is a small cove.

The heart of Maiori, which was the location for several Roberto Rossellini films, is about 10 minutes on foot. From here, you can catch the bus to Positano and Amalfi, and to smaller coastal towns like Ravello, famous for its elegant gardens. The journey is less than 30 minutes for all of them.
