This adults-only hotel is set on the beach and is walking distance to the Port of Palma.

The Luabay La Cala is sporting a sophisticated new look. Thanks to a recent refurbishment, the hotel’s bedrooms are now decorated in calming neutral tones and decked out with contemporary furniture. The communal areas, meanwhile, have had a 21st-century facelift, with white-one-white styling, creating a minimalist feel. What’s more, the hotel has a stylish new beach club.

Of course, the property has kept its best bits. It’s still got its first-class location on the edge of Cala Major’s soft white sand beach, just a 25-minute walk from the port of Palma.

There’s also a swimming pool at the property, which looks out over the sea. What’s more, there’s a bar close by, where you can order drinks and snacks.
