Originally a barn, the Villa Il Fienile has been expertly converted to retain its original style, with old Tuscan windows and attractive internal brickwork and archways. Throughout, the villa is full of character with traditional cotto floor tiles and wooden beamed ceilings.

The accommodation comprises a large living area with a high-beamed ceiling and seating area. Wooden stairs lead up to a wooden-floored gallery - with a sofa that can be converted into a double divan bed - which looks down onto the living area. An archway leads to the spacious, fitted kitchen with marble surfaces. Some steps lead down to a small room where there is a wood-burning oven for making pizzas and a charcoal burning oven for barbecue-style cooking. A door from here leads out onto one of the two terraces, one to the front and one to the side of the property, with superb views of the countryside and vineyards. Steps lead down to a large swimming pool.

Il Fienile lies on the Via Francigena, an old medieval Pilgrim route from northern Europe to Rome and is set in stunning countryside near to the village of Pancole.
