Villa Pomos Mediterranean details
This traditional whitewashed villa is, quite simply, gorgeous inside and out. In a really tranquil setting, it’s less than a ten-minute stroll from the seafront and the small harbour just down the road. There’s a small sandy beach here, too, and a fish taverna that attracts people from as far as Nicosia. And with restaurants and shops in the village, you won’t feel you’re too far off the beaten track.
The villa itself does outdoor living in style. Patios are decked out with sun loungers, while a covered veranda comes with a teak dining table and chairs. There’s also a Jacuzzi-style hot-tub sits beneath a thatched gazebo roof. And right at the centre, set into the terrace, there’s a small private swimming pool.
Inside, it’s just as roomy and every bit as attractive. Archways separate the open-plan lounge and dining areas, and the crisp white décor is warmed up with wood beams and either parquet or tiled flooring. The furnishings, meanwhile, are chunky and traditional – think rustic cabinets and seating carved out of the stonework. And in the spacious, fully-fitted kitchen you’ll find extras like a microwave and washing machine. As for the bedrooms, there’s a double and a twin, each with their own en suite bathroom.
