The traditional style Anagenessis Village Hotel is certainly one of the most attractive hotels on the Greek island of Zante. Built to resemble an old Greek village, this is a tranquil resort laid out across well-manicured gardens around the focal point of a lovely large swimming pool. This is surrounded by sun terraces with a multitude of white loungers and parasols and there is a pool bar nearby. In addition you’ll find a kids’ pool and playground, and mini golf for kids of all ages. And although the accommodation is in self-catering apartments, you’ll find an outdoor cafe and snack bar to keep the wolf from the door.

The studios and apartments are perhaps on the small side but they are clean and very well furnished, featuring air conditioning (payable locally), kitchenettes, satellite TV and balconies. The Anagenessis Village is not far from the heart of Kalamaki, best known as a quiet and friendly resort with an exceptional beach.
