The Sirene is a small, country hotel that will give you a taste of rural life on the Greek island of Zante. It has a delightful swimming pool with an ornamental bridge and a separate children’s area, surrounded by well-equipped sun terraces with a small snack bar at one end. The hotel itself is a traditional Greek-style building with terracotta roof tiles; inside there is one restaurant and a lounge bar. The accommodation at the Sirene is in studios or two bedroom apartments, with kitchenettes, air conditioning and a balcony or a terrace.

It is just a twenty minute walk to reach the centre of Kalamaki, a family-friendly resort on Zante’s southern coast and two kilometres to the nearest beach. This is a great destination for getting back to nature – cockerels crow in the village, loggerhead turtles share the local beaches, and the town is surrounded by olive groves and gardens.
