Small and modern, the Blue Diamond Bay is perfect for combining relaxed days with livelier nights. The location is spot on – you’re just metres from Perivolos beach, a long sandy stretch dotted with stylish bars and restaurants.

Back at the hotel, the outdoor scene is seriously stylish. A rectangular swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace, which comes complete with padded loungers, straw umbrellas and a whirlpool. There’s a pool bar out here, too, so drinks and snacks are within easy reach.

Talking of food, the hotel lays on a buffet breakfast every morning. You can eat in the restaurant – a smart, minimalist space with sleek mahogany furniture and a spot-lit ceiling – or opt for a table on the open-air terrace.
