The Cala D'or Apartments are in a stunning location, built into the side of the volcanic rock face overlooking the bay. You are just 400m to the resort centre where you can do some shopping or sample the local cuisine at the bars and restaurants. It's 800m down to the beach, which does involve around 200 steps, or you can take a short taxi ride that should only cost between two and three Euros. You certainly don't have far to walk to the refreshing pool though, where you can lounge by the water with a good book and a drink from the pool bar.

Inside the Cala D'or you'll find basic but well equipped accommodation, with clean, bright decor and balcony or terrace. A nice surprise is the kitchenette, which has more than usual with a full size oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. When you're not relaxing in your room or by the pool the friendly staff likes to keep you entertained with organised games and activities and there is even a professional show twice a week. If you love gorgeous views and a peaceful base not too far from the action then this is the place for you.
