The Portonovo Apartments, Puerto Rico, offer highly contemporary holiday accommodation with great view out to sea, looking out over the marina it is only a five-minutes walk to the beach. Just ten minutes’ walk up the coast, takes you to the centre of lively Puerto Rico, crammed with shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
The swimming pool is impressive with its triangle shape facing the marina, so you can watch the boats in the harbour as you relax on the sun terrace or by the snack bar. The accommodation is fringed by palm trees and a beautiful garden which is al very private.
The actual apartments have recently been renovated and are very up to date. The interiors are fresh and reflect the origin of the place –whitewashed walls, cool tiled floors and a wooden and wicker furniture. They are all well equipped with satellite TVs and well-stocked kitchens, and or harbour-facing balconies or terraces. The pool bar serves snacks throughout the day. For more substantial meals, head to the marina for tapas and fresh seafood at the harbourside.
