What this hotel hasn’t got isn’t worth talking about. Set in 400,000 square metres of pretty gardens, there’s a huge main pool, tennis and basketball courts, and two restaurants serving dishes made from the local produce. When you want to chill out, you can take it down a notch in the Gelina Spa, or wander down to the Blue Flag beach – it’s a five-minute walk away. The really big talking point, though, is Hydropolis – an onsite park where you can whiz down 21 twisting flumes, or pet animals at the mini-zoo.
