On the sunny Greek island of Skiathos, the Green Meadow is a friendly complex offering excellent value for money for a quiet holiday in the sun. This small establishment is particularly well-positioned: it is only 100 metres from the centre of the resort of Troulos and just 300 metres from the beach. Troulos, on the south coast of the island, is celebrated for its fine sandy beaches and calm, sheltered waters – making it particularly popular with families. It also has a nice selection of restaurants and tavernas and there are a few historic sites nearby, such as the Kounistra monastery, which makes an excellent destination for a country walk.

The Green Meadow has a charming outdoor pool, along with a separate children’s pool and a pool bar. The complex is set amid pretty gardens, and the accommodation is spread between a number of apartment blocks. The simple studios feature air conditioning, TV, kitchenette and balcony or terrace. There is also a tavern in the complex, where you can dine on delicious local cuisine.
