Halcyon Palm

The Halcyon Palm is one of two apartment hotels located within the Palms Resort in Sunset Crest in Holetown on the west coast of Barbados. The Halcyon Palm is larger than its sister property, the Travellers Palm, and it has 25 elegant self-catering apartments that are tastefully decorated and furnished in tropical colours.

The apartments all have a kitchenette with a cooker and a fridge, plus there's cable TV, wireless Internet access and air-conditioning in the bedroom. Guests can eat at the hotel's restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. For guests who prefer to cook then there's the option of ordering a starter food pack containing milk, juice, bread, butter and jam for when you arrive.

Within the hotel's tropical gardens is a swimming pool and sun terrace dotted with loungers and umbrellas. All of the apartments have a garden view and many overlook the pool. Within walking distance of the hotel are shops, restaurants and stunning beaches.

Location

The Halcyon Palm is located in Holetown within the parish of St James, which has beautiful white sand beaches and peaceful coves. Holetown is an exclusive area and has a relaxed vibe to it with plenty of beachside bars and seafood restaurants to choose from, plus water sports to try and boutique shops to browse.

Meals

The Palms Restaurant is a bar, lounge and restaurant all in one which overlooks the pool. The apartments within the hotel have fully-equipped kitchenettes should you wish to cook rather than eat out.

All the apartments have garden views, air-conditioned bedrooms, a ceiling fan in the living room, cable TV, wireless high-speed Internet access, a hairdryer, a safety deposit box and a kitchenette with a cooker, fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
