The first thing that stands out at the Hotel Blue Bay is its setting. The property is perched on a hillside surrounded by greenery. Better still, it overlooks the Aegean Sea, so incredible views are a major feature. When you want to get out and about, meanwhile, it’s about an 800m stroll to the beach and the town centre.

Staying true to its rustic surroundings, the hotel is really traditional, with whitewashed walls, terracotta rooftops and black wrought-iron balconies. Vines creep up the buildings, too, adding to the authentic vibe. Inside, rooms come with simple whitewashed walls and tiled floors, and each one has a balcony with views out to sea.

Elsewhere, you’ll find a bar and tranquil gardens, so there’s plenty of space to relax when you’re not out exploring.
