For a seafront retreat with Greek good looks, it’s got to be the Kanapista Mare.

When it comes to scenery, the Kanapitsa Mare gets top marks. It’s set on a sleepy hillside overlooking the sandy beach of Tzaneria so the views from here are something special. We’re talking mountain backdrops and panoramic seascapes. But peaceful doesn’t equal out on a limb. You’re just a 5 minute walk from the beach, a top spot for watersports, or 15 minutes from Skiathos Town by car or water taxi.

Outside, you’ll find a decent-sized pool framed by a roomy sun terrace – it’s a real chill-out zone. There’s a poolside bar open throughout the day for light bites and drinks.

Inside, the Kanapitsa Mare is light and airy – all clean lines and understated elegance. In terms of décor, rooms are dressed in creamy neutrals. Think peachy-white walls and light-wood furniture.
