This contemporary hotel is well placed for exploring. For starters, Tsilivi’s main strip, lined with shops, restaurants and bars, is just a five-minute walk away. The beach is roughly the same distance, too. It’s a sandy sweep dotted with loungers and parasols, and a great spot for watersports. What’s more, when you want to head further afield, there’s a bus stop just a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel, offering a service that runs along the coast to Zakynthos Town.

In terms of things to do back at the hotel, the swimming pool provides the main focus. It’s a classic rectangular shape with a children’s section at one end. Stretching along one side is a bar-come-restaurant complete with an open-air dining terrace. It’s a good option for simple meals like fish and chips, kebabs and Greek salads. The cocktail menu is worth a flick through, too.

The hotel itself teams pastel-hued walls with white picket-fenced balconies and wrought-iron street lamps. Inside, the classic feel continues with smart wooden furniture and beds dressed in pretty linen. Sliding glass doors let in plenty of light, and lead out onto private balconies. The rooms have recently been refurbished, too, so everything feels really fresh.
