The Alila Diwa offers a boutique retreat in the midst of paddy fields and palm trees.

The Alila Diwa has been designed with modern elegance in mind. It blends traditional Goan touches like verandahs and courtyards with rooms equipped with Wi-Fi and flatscreen TVs. The shared areas, meanwhile, take the classic Indian route with ornaments like lanterns and sculptures.

The facilities are pretty special, too. Outside, there’s an infinity swimming pool complete with recliners and submerged sunbeds. The views from here are pure Goa – palms and paddy fields.

Food-wise, the restaurant offers all-day dining starting with buffet breakfasts that include everything from berry-filled French toast to local delicacies. Later, you can dine on Indian cuisine at the à la carte, set around a banyan tree.

Lastly, the hotel stands in a peaceful spot, just a ten-minute walk or quick courtesy shuttle ride from Majorda beach. You’ll find a choice of bars and restaurants nearby, too.
