After a stay at the Barcelo Costa Cancun, the only problem you will have is that you will not want to go home. This lovely hotel is perfectly positioned right on the edge of the soft white sand of Playa Linda, as well as being just a five minute drive from downtown Cancun. The hotel offers activities galore, including lessons at the PADI scuba diving school, kayaking, volleyball and bicycle hire. For those more inclined to remain horizontal, there is the hotel’s beauty salon, massage and wellness treatments, as well as the spacious sun terrace, which has plenty of sun loungers to stretch out on.

Kids are well catered for at the Barcelo Costa Cancun with a separate section of the large hotel swimming pool set aside especially for little ones, as well as a hotel run kids club and a playground on site. The rooms here have air conditioning, a minibar and a TV and many have stunning sea views from the balcony. Guests dine at the main buffet restaurant or one of the hotel’s 3 à la carte restaurants, which serve a range of cuisines including Mexican and Spanish. There are 3 bars on site for an evening cocktail, as well as an organised programme of evening entertainment.
