These whitewashed, Portuguese-style cottages are just a stone’s skim from Baga Beach and within walking distance of Calangute – perfect for exploring the famous hippy trails of the Sixties and Seventies. And because you’re so close to the shore, you’re just minutes away from the beach bars and restaurants that line the sand, too.

Inside, the cottages are clean and comfortable. They feature white walls, terracotta-tiled floors and wooden furniture, while separate living areas and private balconies give them a roomy feel.

Outside, you'll find the swimming pool, which is set in a large terrace that's studded with sunbeds. There’s a large lawn area with a plunge pool, too. And if you want to turn the relaxation dial up a notch, head to the mini spa. This place offers up authentic Ayurvedic treatments designed to soothe mind, body and soul.

On the food front, meals are served in the in-house bar and restaurant. Overlooking the swimming pool, this place comes with an outdoor terrace – perfect for dining al fresco. Being so close to the sea, expect some of the freshest seafood going – fish, prawns, and lobsters are caught and served on the same day. But it’s not just seafood on the menu. Aside from authentic curries, Tandoori dishes and local Goan specialities, you’ll find a range of European favourites on offer, too.
