Sitting in sight of the wonderful backdrop of the impressive Dikti Mountains, the long-established Despo Hotel, Gouves attracts families and couples in search of a peaceful location. The grounds of this pastoral hotel are highlighted with multi-coloured flowers and lush vegetation, and well tended lawns fringe the appealing pool terrace. Accommodation is simple, yet clean and functional, with friendly staff doing all they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

The hotel itself is in Heraklion, about two miles from the centre of Gouves village and only 600 metres from Gouves gorgeous sandy beach. On the beach you will find a well equipped water sports centre. Gouves itself is well equipped for days in the sun with its many cafes, bars and restaurants on the seafront and some really interesting little boutiques as well as the traditional souvenir shops in the town.

On site at the hotel there's a swimming pool, kid's pool, two restaurants, snack and lobby bars. Both onsite and off there's everything here you need for the perfect Greek getaway.
