The property has been designed in an authentic style. The building is all arched doorways and cream-coloured walls. The area around the private swimming pool, meanwhile, is surrounded by a wall with inlaid tiles, which gives it a Sicilian baroque feel.
Then there’s the hotel’s restaurant. It comes with an outdoor area set in a glade of olive trees, and the menu revolves around traditional Sicilian cuisine like caponata, fresh seafood and sweet pastries.
When it comes to getting out and about, the centre of Cefalu is a five-minute taxi ride away and the hotel is within day-tripping distance of Etna and Palermo.
