The Hotel Dolcestate is set in a peaceful spot on the outskirts of the Natural Madonie Park, close to Cefalu. Sweeping woodland and vast green fields stretch out for miles around, so the views are fantastic. You’ve got easy access to the beach, as well – follow the path that leads from the hotel, and you’ll reach a sweep of sand and shingle.
Two large circular swimming pools take pride of place in the grounds. They’re connected by a bridge, and edged by lawns freckled with loungers. There’s a shaded bar out here, too, that’ll keep you going with snacks and cold drinks, plus a rooftop solarium that overlooks the pools.
You can look forward to breakfasts and dinners in the hotel’s buffet restaurant, Sala delle Ginestre.
