In a peaceful location, while still being close to the centre of the resort, this family-run hotel could be just what the doctor ordered. Outside, there’s a fabulous freeform pool in a ravishing garden setting. Grab a lounger here, pull your hat down over your eyes and your cares will drift away. And if that builds up an appetite, don’t worry, there’s a pool bar to hand. Inside, there’s a pleasant bar/restaurant where breakfast is served.

The bedrooms here are cool and spacious with tiled floors and wooden furniture. The amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV and minibars. Despite the Paradise’s quiet and seemingly secluded location, it is actually very close to the centre of Samos Town and only 1.5 kilometres from the beach. Samos Town is a fascinating old town set on a beautiful bay. Along the bustling harbour, you’ll find a splendid choice of restaurants and tavernas; the shopping’s good here and it also makes a great base for exploring the rest of the island.
