Modern but with timeless Mediterranean good looks, the Santellini is a charming little property, close to the beach.

Sometimes you just want somewhere serene and simple. Somewhere free of kids’ discos, aqua aerobics and games around the pool. If that strikes a chord, then you’ll love the Santellini. It’s only a few years old and looks shiny and new.

At the same time though, it has a traditional Greek feel about it, thanks to its creamy-white finish, graceful archways and blue balcony trimmings. And with French windows and crisp embroidered sheets, the bedrooms are Mediterranean-fresh, too.

This feeling of calm extends down to the sun terrace. The turquoise pool is perfect for a morning swim. If, however, a holiday isn’t a holiday without sunbathing to the sound of the sea, you’ll be pleased to know that the Santellini is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach. And en route you’ll find plenty of tavernas, bars and shops to tempt you in.

All in all, the Santellini is a delightful property that doesn’t feel the need to impress you with tourist trappings. Instead, it offers up a calmer, more tranquil atmosphere in which to enjoy the Greek sunshine.
